Here is a
nice,  lightly used Starrett USA "Fay"spring-type heavy duty outside caliper in the 4" size.  The part No. is 75-4.  This pair has a quick-spring nut for quick positive adjustments.
This type is no longer made by Starrett.
It works great, look good and there are no engravings on it.  A little note on this vintage type:
"Starrett "Fay" calipers and dividers are extremely rugged in construction.  The legs are made from heavy square stock and machined to a smooth taper.  The fulcrum stud is hardened and has an exceptionally large bearing surface to prevent side deflection of the legs."
