Spectacular 17-1/2" Vintage Chinese Mudman, Rare,Large Mudmen,Mud Man,Men,Figure

My mother was a passionate and informed mudman collector.  She had an enormous collection of mud figures, some of them quite remarkable.  This charismatic individual was her largest, measuring 17-1/2" tall.
I love this gentleman's expression!  He very nearly has a twinkle in his eye.  His bearing is regal, his countenance merry.
He is thick, sturdy, and very heavy.  He's also in superb condition.  There is what appears to be an original, primitively patched small split/crack at the bottom edge of his robe on the back side (see the last three photos).  The only other flaw I noticed also appears to be original; some of the very tips of the fingers underneath the peach appear to be missing; these spots are glazed along with the rest of the piece.  I photographed this from below, with the mudman lying on his back; it's the only way you can see it (check the seventh photo.)
He really is a magnificent specimen.  I hated to put him back in his box; he makes me smile just to look at him!  What a happy soul :)
