HTF Rare Vintage James Sadler Barrel Shaped Teapot # 1762

Description

This is an Antique Rare, Hard to Find Original James Sadler Barrel Shaped Teapot. It measures 10 inches long, is 5.75 inches tall and is 3.75 inches wide. It depicts a  beautiful17th century setting of a Lady playing a Lute, while two guests watch while enjoying the afternoon tea in a wooded area. The portrait is on both sides of the teapot surround by an elegant gold trim. It has gold floral chintz over an eggshell colored glaze and a gold bow finial. In the photos you will see that this Teapot has been used. There are some Tea stains on the inside as well as crazing on the inside and outside. There is minor loss of gold on the spout an additional loss of gold on the finial and on the gold trim.  There is one small chip on the bottom at the base. You will see Sadlers Mark on the bottom as well as the 1762 and what looks to be a "M7" or possibly a "177". This comes from a smoke free home. Will be packed well for shipping.
