Gorgeous paperweight is an authentic artist's proof designed by Colin Terris for Caithness Glass.  The 1997 edition for this design was limited to 75 pieces and closed at 70.
Colin was fascinated with space, the Space Program and incorporated its wonders into many of his designs.  This one not only has vivid greens, yellow and golden brown color, but the undulating waves of glass mimic the sleekness of ships rocketing through the heavens to discover the stars.
Astral Navigator is a sculptural ovoid.  It's about 2 1/2" high and almost 3 1/2" long.  We had quite a lot of Caithness in our Houston store; this is from that collection.  Not purchased or owned by anyone else.
