THIS IS CUT FROM A NEW 6 FOOT LONG LENGTH OF ROD.
THE SAW BLADE IS 1/8" THICK. THEREFORE 1/8" OF MATERIAL IS LOST DURING THE CUTTING PROCESS.

As you can see from the picture of the rod on the grid, these rods are translucent.
The last 2 pictures are of a rods being held in front of a BLACK FLUORESCENT light
The Rods will glow a
ONLY
when in the influence of a black fluorescent or Actinic type light.
In normal light conditions the rods are very vibrant GREEN.
The color of the rods will vary depending on the back round color and light conditions due to being translucent.

SQUARE ACRYLIC ROD FACTS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE BUYING

THE SQUARE SIZE DIMENSION STATED IN THE AUCTION IS NOMINAL.
i.e.: A SQUARE NOMINAL SIZE OF 1” X 1” ROD IS TYPICALLY 15/16” X 15/16”... A SQUARE 1/2” X 1/2” ROD IS TYPICALLY 15/32” X 15/32”. IT IS NEVER EVER A TRUE SIZE.

THE SIDES OF SQUARE RODS TEND TO BE SLIGHTLY CONCAVE OR SOMETIMES CONVEX. THEY ARE RARELY ALWAYS PERFECTLY FLAT. THE CORNER EDGES TEND TO BE SLIGHTLY ROUNDED AS SEEN IN THE PICTURES. THEY ARE NOT RAZOR SHARP.
THAT IS THE NATURE OF EXTRUDED ACRYLIC SQUARE RODS.
To assure that you get the finest quality, the protective sleeve is kept in place on the rods while being cut to protect the acrylic.
All rods have saw cut edges on both ends. Saw cutting can cause some micro chipping
on the ends of the rods as seen in the pictures.
Please allow a length tolerance of +/- 1/16" on all pieces.
